Although I’ve travelled extensively, America hasn’t been somewhere I’ve explored. Sure, I visited Florida as a child and went to ALL the theme parks, but that doesn’t really count.
America is one of the largest countries in the world, so it’s no surprise there are so many places there that I want to visit, I just need to get around to actually doing it.
These are the places in the USA that I most want to visit…
I’ve been dreaming of visiting Seattle ever since I watched The Killing and lusted over all of the dramatic sweeping shots of the city and surrounding landscapes. It looks absolutely gorgeous and full of character and life. I’d love to spend some time exploring the city and then get out into the nature that surrounds Seattle too.
Also, I’ve heard that it always rains in Seattle so I’m sure that would make me feel right at home!
What girl doesn’t dream of visiting New York? I’ve wanted to go there for as long as I can remember and feel like I’ve built it up so much now that it might not live up to expectations.
There are so many things I want to do and see when I do get around to visiting New York, so I better get saving my cash!
The Florida Keys
The Florida Keys look like absolute heaven on earth! These are a string of tropical islands that are known for their laid-back atmosphere, stunning beaches and killer sunrises and sunsets. Sounds like the perfect place for a relaxing break.
Yes, yes, yes! I’ve been wanting to visit San Francisco for so long. I want to set eyes on the glorious Golden Gate Bridge, visit Alcatraz, stroll along the boardwalk and discover fun things in the city.
Yosemite National Park
I’ve been pretty fascinated by Yosemite National Park ever since learning about it in geography when I was about 14. The pictures of the landscapes look absolutely incredible and I would love to do some walking and exploring in the park.
Although I’m not a massive gambler, I’ve always wanted to spend a few days in Vegas. I want to see the excess, the glamour and the fuss for myself. I want to see the places that are always featured in movies and on TV and experience Vegas for myself.
Also, a visit to the Grand Canyon would be an absolute must!
I feel like after watching and rewatching a million episodes of The Hills as a teenager it would be ridiculous not to want to go to LA and spend some time pretending to be LC. Lol! But, on a serious note, I’d love to spend a little time in LA, do some celeb-spotting and check out some of the best things the city has to offer.
