Just over a week ago I was in Pamporovo, Bulgaria enjoying my first ever ski trip. I was there for a week with Thomas, his sister Andrea and her partner Richard.

There were highs and lows, some seriously gorgeous scenery, tough ski days, sore limbs, great food, friendly people and plenty of laughs. As it was my first ever ski trip it was so different to any other trip I’ve taken in the past.

As it was my first ever ski trip it was so different to any other trip I’ve taken in the past. It was a totally alien type of trip for me, but I loved it nonetheless. I think it’s safe to say my first ski trip won’t end up being my last ski trip and we’re already thinking of places to go for our next jaunt.

It was also my first time visiting Bulgaria, my 39th country! I adored the beautiful mountain views and the lovely Bulgarian people we met during our time there.

I’ll be sharing lots more from my trip in upcoming posts over the next few weeks so be sure to check back for those. For now, here are some pictures of Pamporovo and insights into our trip…
