Today I’m beyond excited to be able to announce that I’m going on a cruise with Silversea to China, Vietnam and Singapore!
If you’re a regular reader here then you’ll probably know that I also have a cruise blog, Emma On Board, which focuses specifically on cruise holidays for the younger passenger and aims to prove cruising isn’t just for grandparents! I’ve been lucky enough to have sailed on 14 cruises in my 23 years and I’m delighted that Silversea and this AMAZING cruise are going to be my fifteenth cruise.
Silversea are an ‘ultra-luxury’ cruise company (I like the sound of ultra-luxury!) that pride themselves on service and passenger experience. I’ll be sailing on board Silver Shadow which is a relatively small cruise ship with room for just 328 passengers and 302 crew. I love smaller cruise ships as they always feel more friendly, intimate and lets face it, they’re harder to get lost on!
I’ll be flying to Hong Kong on the 25th November where I’ll get on board Silver Shadow for our 9 night voyage which will see us visiting Ha Long Bay, Chan May, Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, before sailing onto Singapore where I will fly home from (unless I can find somewhere to stowaway on that gorgeous ship…shhh!).
I’ll be staying in a gorgeous verandah suite with my very own little balcony, walk in wardrobe and full size bath to relax in after a hard day exploring ashore.
This cruise will be a little different for me as this is a special culinary arts voyage, which I’ve never actually been lucky enough to experience before. Famous British chef Jason Atherton will be on board teaching passengers about his cooking secrets and whipping up delicious meals. Yum!
I’ll be revealing more details over on my cruise blog in the coming few days and weeks so stay tuned for that. For now, I’m off to daydream about sitting on my verandah sipping champagne and watching the world sail by…
Disclosure: I’ll be a guest of Silversea for the duration of my cruise. All opinions and outbursts of pure, unadulterated excitement are entirely my own.
