I love the variety of entertainment you can find on board cruise ships. By far my favourite has been the aerial acrobatics that I was lucky enough to see on board Royal Caribbean’s Grandeur of the Seas.

I’d been on board Grandeur of the Seas before it’s refurbishment early in 2012 and I was really excited to see all the changes that had taken place. My favourite changes were the addition of speciality restaurant Chops Grille and the aerial acrobatic entertainment in the ship’s impressive centrum area.

The hanging chandeliers were part of the acrobatic routine in the evening!

I had seen the acrobats practicing their routines during the day and was already impressed but seeing it in the evening with the lights, music and costumes was incredible. I was absolutely blown away by it.

Seeing the acrobats elegantly swinging through the centrum in time to the music was mesmerising and without a doubt the coolest entertainment I’ve ever seen at sea.

Royal Caribbean have introduced aerial acrobatic entertainment on several of their ships including Oasis of the Seas, Allure of the Seas, and Rhapsody of the Seas.

Check out my short video below for a glimpse at the aerial acrobats on Grandeur of the Seas.

Have you seen aerial acrobatic entertainment at sea? Would you like to after seeing the video?!
